The Collierville High School women's basketball team has officially entered the state's top 10 rankings, securing the No. 9 spot in the Power 10 as the eighth week of the 2024-25 season rolls around. This marks a historic moment for the Lady Dragons at midseason, who have earned the recognition as one of West Tennessee’s most formidable teams on the court.
The Lady Dragons' impressive performance this season has been fueled by a combination of talented underclassmen and seasoned upperclassmen, who have showcased both skill and leadership in every game. With a powerful defense and a versatile offense, the team has dominated the majority of its competition, earning respect not only locally but also across the great state of Tennessee.
Collierville’s ranking in the Top 10 follows a string of decisive wins, including a key victory over South Gibson to begin the new calendar year. Talented guards like Hilary Shikuku have stepped up as standout performers, with averaging 19.7 points per game and Jekyhra Rodgers contributing 10.5 points per game.
