COLLIERVILLE, Tenn. – Collierville Schools is pleased to announce the expansion of its longstanding partnership with OrthoOne Sports Medicine through the appointment of Tripp Turner, ATC, LAT, as Director of Sports Medicine for Collierville Schools, effective immediately. Turner will continue serving in his current role as Director of Sports Medicine for OrthoOne Sports Medicine while providing enhanced leadership and oversight for sports medicine services throughout the district.

Turner brings more than three decades of experience in athletic training and sports medicine to this expanded partnership. A Board Certified and Tennessee Licensed Athletic Trainer, he has dedicated his career to supporting the health, safety, and performance of student-athletes across the Mid-South. Since joining OrthoOne in 2008 as Director of Sports Medicine, Turner has developed and led comprehensive sports medicine programs, working closely with schools, coaches, athletic trainers, physicians, and families to deliver exceptional care for athletes at all levels.

Through the district's expanded partnership with OrthoOne, Turner will provide leadership and oversight of sports medicine services for athletic programs across Collierville Schools' six elementary schools, two middle schools, and Collierville High School. Working alongside athletic trainers Matt Norton and Tina Cole, as well as coaches, administrators, physicians, and student-athletes, he will help ensure the highest standards of care in injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and return-to-play protocols.

A graduate of the University of Memphis with a degree in Exercise Science/Athletic Training, Turner has been a leader in the athletic training profession throughout his career. His service has included leadership roles with the Tennessee Athletic Trainers' Society, membership on the TSSAA Sports Medicine Advisory Committee, and involvement with numerous organizations dedicated to advancing student-athlete health and safety.
