Collierville High School Swimming Teams Shine at Shelby County Championship

Collierville, TN — It was a night to remember for the Collierville High School Swimming teams on Saturday at the St. George's Aquatic Center. The teams dominated the pool, bringing home the combined team score title along with both the men’s and women’s championships at the Shelby County Swim Championship meet.

The night kicked off with some thrilling relay events, where the Collierville swimmers immediately set the tone for the evening. The Girls 200 Yard Medley Relay earned a strong 2nd place finish with the quartet of Kylie Landry, Nadia Hamadani, Evie Munz, and Christina Post, while the Mixed 200 Yard Medley Relay took home 1st place with a powerful performance by Warre Ceulemans, Miles Chapman, Eli Hong, and Eli Munz.

In the individual events, several Collierville swimmers made their mark, showcasing their skill and determination. Evie Munz had a standout performance, taking 1st in the Girls 100 Yard Fly and the Girls 100 Yard IM. Erin Madigan also had an exceptional night, earning 1st place in the Girls 500 Yard Free, while Kylie Landry claimed 1st in the Girls 100 Yard Back.

On the men’s side, Miles Chapman led the way, securing 1st place in the Boys 50 Yard Breast and contributing to the Mixed 400 Yard Free Relay win, alongside Eli Munz, Warre Ceulemans, and Eli Hong.

The evening wasn’t just about individual glory—Collierville's relay teams proved to be a force to be reckoned with, finishing 1st in both the Mixed 400 Yard Free Relay and the Girls 400 Yard Relay, with standout performances from Evie Munz, Kylie Landry, Christina Post, and others.

Collierville's dominance at the Shelby County Swim Championship is a testament to their hard work and determination throughout the season. With numerous top finishes and team championships, the future looks bright for the Collierville High School Swim teams as they continue to build on this success.

The Dragons will now prepare for the state tournament that is scheduled to be held at The University of Tennessee, Feb. 7-8.
