It came down to the wire on a foggy Thursday night at Forklift Field as the Lady Dragons Softball team grabbed a victory in walk-off fashion, 4-2, over Northpoint Christian. With the game tied at two in the bottom of the eighth, Kendall Harper doubled on a line drive to the gap scoring two runs.

Collierville got on the board early in the first inning when Kinsley Scallions singled and took advantage of 2 throwing errors to round the bases. The Dragons added on in the bottom of the fourth with an RBI triple by Isabella Flanders.

Northpoint tied the game in top of the sixth thanks to a double by Trinity Garvin and a single by Faith Ryan.

Harper earned the win for Collierville allowing zero hits and zero runs over two innings of relief work while striking out three. Flanders started the game in the circle for Collierville and only allowing four hits and two runs over six innings.

The Lady Dragons are back in action this weekend as they travel to the Blazer Blast in Jonesboro, AR.
