The Collierville High men's cross country team headed to Sanders Ferry Park in Hendersonville this week to compete in the 2023 TSSAA State Championships.

On the men's side, senior Reid Gulstrom ran an impressive 16:29.36 to lead the Dragons pack and place 25th. Explosive junior standout, Ty Durst, was at his Gulstrom's hip the whole race and crossed the finish line with a mark at 16:30.15 for 27th place.

Sophomore Jacob Roper has a bright future and made his presence known with 38th place and a time of 16:47.14. Rounding out the top 5 for Collierville was senior Andrew Graham (71) and Colin Sabo (76).

It marked the first time since 2018 that the Dragons placed in the Top 10 at the state championship race.

Congratulations to all team members and Coach Kelso, Coach Streitmatter, Coach Schwaller, and Coach Stader on a great season on the trails.
