The Collierville women' s soccer team defeated Arlington on Monday night, 3-1, at the Collierville Soccer Complex. In a regular season match on September 19, the two teams conceded to a draw. In that match, Collierville was without star player Presley Williams. The junior midfielder made her presence known with the game-winning goal with under 26 minutes to play in Monday's contest.
Freshman Ellie Delaney was the catalyst for the offense against the Tigers, picking up a pair of goals - both assists from cross field from Kaitlyn Lewis.
Collierville goalkeeper Lily Reafsnyder was again solid in front of the net for the Dragons.
With the win, Collierville's season continues with their pursuit to return to this year's state tournament. The Dragons will advance to next week's Regional Tournament where they will again face elimination. The date, opponent, time, and location TBA.
