Emma Wolfe came through with the clutch double in Collierville's extra-inning win over Arlington, and also earned the win in the circle in Thursday's 11-10 series finale victory over Arlington.
Collierville (17-4) capitalized on six base on balls and pounded out 12 hits that included doubles by Mackenzie Guess, Sara Depperman, and Molly Davis. Kate Hogan homered for the Dragons. Davis was 3-for-3 on the night. Addison Morgan and Wolfe had multiple hits.
Wolfe went the distance while striking out six Arlington hitters.
With the win, Collierville forces a first place tie in District 15-AAAA play with the Tigers. The Dragons have swept Houston, beaten Bartlett, and now tied in the Arlington series.
The Dragons are back in action on Monday when they travel to Whitehaven for a 5pm matchup.
