The Collierville High School Trap team has established themselves as a perennial state power over the past decade. In 2023, the expectations are as high as ever before. With key contributors to the overall success the past few seasons returning, the squad will be fun to follow to see all accomplishments to add to the resume.

If the beginning of the '23 season is any indication, those expectations will likely be met.

In the season opener at Lakeland, sophomore Tyler Carrier entered the spotlight securing the highest score overall with a perfect 50. Senior standout Cody Hinton began his final campaign in high school with the Junior AAA Championship. Representing the junior class was Alex Whitehead by bringing home the C Championship medal.

This past Saturday the team competed at Moscow and had a 2nd place overall score. Team members included Emma Lott, Hinton, Aidan Beech, Carrier and Rhett Colon.

Hinton took 1st place overall with a perfect 50.

Lott finished 3rd place as Varsity Female.

The Dragons will be back in action at Moscow for the season's third shoot on February 18.
