On a gorgeous day at Sanders Ferry Park in Hendersonville, the Lady Dragons Cross Country team had an impressive showing at the State Meet on Friday. Twenty-three teams advanced to the championship race and Collierville finished fourth after results were calculated.

Junior Allie Timms had one of her best performances of her career, pacing the Dragons with a time of 20:32.43. Ava Lang crossed the finish line shortly after with a time at 20:54.59. Alyssa Loden and Scarlett Nash finished together at the 21:12 mark. The Dragons also received points with successful runs by Maya McCloskey (21:37), Lauren Moerbe (21:41), and Maggie Webber (22:05). Six of the seven will return in hopes to race for the title again in 2023.

Collierville was also represented with two individuals qualifying for the boys' race. Reid Gulstrom had a time of 17:46.72 and Ty Durst crossed the finish line at 18:02.13. Both finished as Top 100 runners in the state and will return for the 2023 season.

Congratulations, Dragons XC!
