Collierville won the sectional volleyball tournament for the 6th consecutive year and is headed back to Murfreesboro for the TSSAA State Championships. The Dragons defeated Dickson Co. in comfortable fashion with a 3-0 sweep, 25-8, 25-7, 25-3, in a match that lasted just 45 minutes Thursday night in the MTM Fieldhouse. With the win, the team improves to 34-8 in 2022.
Brackets are expected to be released Friday morning for next week's state tournament. Collierville is looking to claim the school's first state title. The Dragons' highest finish was in 2004 when they finished as state runner-up.
