The Collierville women's soccer team celebrated their first win of 2022 with a dominating second half performance against Evangelical Christian, earning a 3-1 victory on Thursday (Aug. 25) at home.

ECS started off the match with an early goal, but the Dragons would surrender no other real threats for the remainder of the game. Collierville was held scoreless in the first half, but quickly emerged with an Amelya Jacobs goal from a PK in the second half. Olivia Federico would later give the Dragons a 2-1 lead when she found the back of the net from a set-up on a corner kick. Jacobs would again score just before the game's end to add insurance.

Collierville (1-1-1) will be back at home on Tuesday when the team welcomes the Spartans of White Station to their friendly confines.
