Thursday evening at St. George's was one for the record books as Collierville senior midfielder Amelya Jacobs continues to make her case for a preseason Player of the Year candidate by recording four goals to help power Collierville soccer to a dominant, 8-0, win over St. George's in the final pre-season match of the season.

Senior Hannah Rawie, classmate Montse Jasso, and junior Alice Moffatt all got on the stat sheet with goals during the rout of the Gryphons.

The dynamic defense of the Dragons did not allow an opponent to score a goal in the team's three exhibition games in August.

Collierville Soccer will open the regular season Tuesday, 7pm, at home versus Hutchison.
