The Collierville High School trap team was busy in June with their Regional 1 competition in Moscow and the state competition in Nashville.

Highlights from the Regional competition included a 2nd place finish in the senior varsity division. The Dragons were led by
Ben Brazille, Patrick Cowan, Rhett Colon, Cody Hinton, and Emma Lott.

In the Senior Varsity individual men’s division, Cody Hinton took 7th and Rhett Colon took 17th out of 168 athletes.

In the Senior Varsity individual women’s division, Emma Lott placed 1st out of 54.

At the state competition in Nashville that concluded on June 25th, the Dragons senior varsity team placed 10th out of 55 teams. Members of the team consisted again of Brazille, Cowan, Colon, Hinton and Lott. This same group placed 8th in the squad category out of 55 teams.

Cody Hinton placed 32nd out of 323 in Men’s Senior Individual Varsity. Emma Lott placed 29th out of 83 in Women’s Senior Individual Varsity.

The junior varsity and middle school teams also endured much success. The future is bright for Collierville Trap. Congratulations to all the coaching staff and team members.
