Collierville High School top throwers, Jaden McKinney and Emma Tucker, both walked to the circle as cool and casual as one could be in their last chance before the TSSAA State Championship runs begin. On Saturday, Arlington High School held their annual "Lastest" Chance Meet that concludes the regular season.

The Dragons throwers shined on the sunny day. Both took deep breaths, did the popular shot put spin technique and boom - first place.

McKinney tossed 41 feet, 11 inches to win the boys results over Arlington's Cooper Harris 39-08 and Bartlett's best, Elijah Gutierrez, throw of 38-07.

Tucker tossed 35 feet to win the girls result. Bartlett's highly touted freshman, China Giaimo, tossed 32-03 for second place. Collierville's freshman, Keirsten Holmes, tossed 27 feet and some to finish in 7th place.

The TSSAA Section 4 AAA, West AA & West A Championship is scheduled May 11-14 at Bartlett.
