Bats Stay Hot, Depperman Strikes Out 11 In Softball's Win Over Tigers

Collierville Softball had another game shortened run rule win on Friday (April 15) with a 13-3 win over the Whitehaven Tigers. The bats are extremely hot for the Dragons. The team scored 56 runs during the week's four victories over Evangelical Christian, Briarcrest Christian, Houston, and Whitehaven.

Lana Phillips was 3-for-3 with 3 RBI to lead the Dragons Offense. Sara Depperman and Scarlett Cavaness also had multiple hits.

Depperman was the winning pitcher in the circle. The sophomore right-hander threw the complete game, allowing just three hits, and striking out 11.

Collierville (16-6) with look to win their fifth straight on Monday. The team is scheduled to play at Northpoint Christian with first pitch slated for 4:30pm in Southaven, Mississippi.
