Amelya Jacobs scored 3 goals to spark an offensive outburst for the Collierville Lady Dragon soccer team in the Sectional Finals at the Collierville Soccer Stadium Saturday night (Oct. 23). Sophia Cherry added a pair of goals in the 5-0 victory over Clarksville Northwest.

It was the twelfth shutout for the Dragons in 2021. The team has only allowed four goals all season.

With the win, Collierville (14-1-1) will advance to the TSSAA State Championships in Chattanooga October 27-30. The Lady Dragons will open play Wednesday in the quarterfinals versus McMinn Co. at 4pm. The winner will face the winner of the Nolensville/Bearden quarterfinal match at 6:30pm on Thursday. Both games would be played at Chattanooga's Girls Preparatory School. The state championship is Saturday, 4pm, at CHI Memorial Stadium. Complete brackets are posted at tssaasports.com.
