The Collierville boys cross-country team traveled to the Jesse Owens Classic in north Alabama over the weekend. Senior Ben Linder turned in another stellar performance, running a 16:19, the 12th fastest time in CHS history. He also holds the 9th spot on the all-time list. Senior Eric Vande Linde and sophomores Reid Gulstrom and Cameron Blankenship ran personal records on the 5k course. The boys varsity team finished 23rd out of 83 teams.
The Varsity boys will next compete at the Saturday Light Fever race in Hendersonville on October 9.
