After finding the back of the net just once in the season's opener at Hutchison, Collierville was looking for more offensive weapons Thursday night versus Evangelical Christian. The Lady Dragons brought their A game against ECS, delivering a 5-0 thumping in front of a lively crowd at the Collierville Soccer Stadium.

It didn't take long for the Lady Dragons to assert themselves, getting on the board early with a goal by junior Amelya Jacobs. Shortly after, senior Ellison Suhoza scored off a corner kick from junior Sophia Cherry. Junior Olivia Federico and Freshman Presley Williams added to the scoring fun to give Collierville a 4-0 first half lead.

The Lady Dragons backed off the offensive pressure in the second half, but did add a Cherry penalty kick and secured the 5-0 victory.

Collierville will be back in action next Thursday at the Collierville Soccer Stadium when the Lady Dragons host White Station. The varsity is set to kick-off at 7pm.
