The powers that be at Houston High might want to consider purchasing a new track. Because the old one got scorched on Saturday.
Several competitors turned in state-best or near state-best times as the Houston Track Classic returned with a bang after being canceled last season, along with all other TSSAA spring sports. This year’s meet was slightly toned but still featured 32 schools and over 850 athletes.
