A season that was full of challenges ended with a tough test Friday night in the 6A state quarterfinals of the TSSAA playoffs for the Collierville High School football team.

The Dragons were limited to just eight rushing yards and struggled to find their offensive rhythm falling at Bartlett 35-7. The Dragons managed a rushing score in the fourth quarter by senior Jaden Spencer. Scottie Alexander Jr. finished a stellar career with four catches for 54 yards.

The team will finish the season with their heads high as they returned Collierville football to the state's elite eight for the first time in two decades. A season that gave the Collierville community plenty to cheer about and excitement about the future of Dragons Football.

Bartlett will host Brentwood in the semi-finals on November 27th.
