On Friday, Collierville High School announced Anthony Hall has resigned as the Head Coach for the Girls’ Basketball Team. Hall, who held the position since the 2016-2017 season, had a 68-53 overall record. Last season, the Lady Dragons finished 20-10, the team’s best season since 2002. Hall is expected to join the Men’s Basketball staff at Southwest Tennessee Community College.
“We are certainly disappointed to lose a coach of Anthony Hall’s caliber, but we are excited for him to return to the college game, “ stated Collierville Schools Director of Athletics Jeff Curtis. “This is a great opportunity for him and I wish him the best.”
Prior to his tenure coaching at Collierville High School, Hall was the Head Men’s Basketball Coach at Fontbonne University and Avila University.
Hall excelled as a basketball player at Utica (MS) Junior College and Southeast Missouri State University.
Collierville High School will begin a search for a new Head Girls’ Basketball Coach immediately.
