Central Football Edges Collierville In Dramatic Finish

Will Mason's second touchdown pass of the game, a 17-yarder to Jalen Dale, gave the Warriors (1-2) a late victory over the previously-undefeated Dragons (2-1).

Mason also connected with Arkansas commit Darin Turner on a 26-yard touchdown pass to open the game. The Melrose transfer also scored on a 10-yard run and Central also had touchdown runs from Artavious Thornton (46) and Jamarious Brooks. For Collierville, Mitch Austin threw three touchdown passes and added a touchdown run that tied the game at 28 in the fourth quarter. Austin was 15-31, with three interceptions, and 188 total yards in the air. The Dragons receiving core was lead by Andrew Smith with 5 catches for 44 yards - including a 14-yard touchdown reception.

Collierville will face Southaven next Friday at home for Homecoming.
