In a feat of dominance that surpassed even her own lofty standards, Collierville junior Khari Webb has been named the Daily Memphian Track and Field Athlete of the Year for the second consecutive year — and with good reason.

Webb racked up 48 points at the 2025 Class AAA state meet, eclipsing the 44 points she scored in her award-winning 2024 campaign. She entered the Spring Fling already a champion, having claimed the pentathlon title ahead of the main event, then went on to defend her crowns in both the 100-meter hurdles (14.30 seconds) and 300-meter hurdles (42.96 seconds).

But Webb wasn't finished.

She cleared 5 feet, 8 inches to win the high jump and added a second-place finish in the long jump to round out her incredible individual total. Her 48 points would have been enough to place third in the team standings if she were competing alone.

Webb’s repeat performance not only cements her place as one of Tennessee’s top track athletes but also hints at an even more dominant senior year to come.
