Collierville, Tenn. – In a commanding performance on Tuesday, Collierville High School’s softball team advanced to the Regional Final with a 15-0 victory over Memphis Central. The game ended in the third inning via the mercy rule after the Lady Dragons posted 15 runs.

Starting pitcher Blue Flanders was nothing short of dominant in the circle, throwing a no-hitter while striking out seven batters.

Collierville’s offense wasted no time getting on the board, putting up a 9 spot in the first inning. The offensive outburst continued in the second inning, as the Lady Dragons added five more runs, highlighted by an impressive inside-the-park home run by Farrah Gomez.

The Lady Dragons, now 19-11-1, will host the Regional Final on Wednesday, facing Arlington at Forklift Field. The game is set to begin at 6 p.m. That winner will host the Sectional Final on Friday, while the losing team will travel to the Clarksville area.
