The Collierville High School women's basketball team capped off their remarkable regular season by securing a historic 25th win, defeating Bartlett 52-49 on Tuesday night at MyTownMovers Fieldhouse and Nikki McCray-Penson Court.

Despite a slow start, where they trailed 18-12 at the end of the first quarter, the Lady Dragons rallied back, outscoring Bartlett in each of the final three quarters to seal the victory.

Senior standout Hilary Shikuku led Collierville with 17 points, including a crucial steal and score with under one minute left to help secure the win. Sophomore shooting guard Bailey Thornton added 13 points, playing a key role in the team’s offense.

With the victory, Collierville finishes the regular season with an impressive 25-5 record and clinches second place in District 15-AAAA with a 10-2 league record. Bartlett, the district’s number one seed, suffered their first district loss of the season, but remains in the top spot as they head into the postseason.
