Collierville High School women's basketball picked up win number twenty-one for the 2024-25 season while celebrating Senior Night on Friday at MyTownMovers Fieldhouse. The Lady Dragons had a commanding 55-13 victory over the Cordova Wolves. After the game, seniors Hilary Shikuku and Jasmine Anderson were recognized for all achievements and accomplishments as Lady Dragons.
Collierville wasted no time asserting control, starting the game with an impressive 18-0 run by the end of the first quarter. The Lady Dragons cruised through the remainder of the game, maintaining a strong lead and never allowing Cordova to mount a serious challenge.
In addition to the dominant performance, the victory marked a significant milestone for Head Coach Kendrick Watkins, who secured his 100th career win as a Head Coach. Watkins, in his first season with the Dragons, spent three seasons as the Head Coach at Rossville Christian Academy prior to taking the helm at Collierville.
The Lady Dragons (21-4, 6-1 District 15-AAAA) will be back in action next Tuesday, when they travel to Southwind for their next district matchup.
