ROCKVALE, TN — The Collierville High School volleyball team continues its impressive run in the TSSAA State Tournament, securing a victory against traditional powerhouse Brentwood in a thrilling opening round matchup on Tuesday night.
Collierville started strong, taking the first set 25-20, but Brentwood responded, leveling the match at 1-1 with a 25-21 win in the second set. Undeterred, the Dragons shifted into high gear, showcasing their high level of skills by clinching the next two sets, both with a score of 25-21.
The team aims to secure a spot in the state’s final four as Collierville now turns its focus to the next challenge: a matchup against Maryville at 12 PM on Wednesday.
