Collierville, TN -- The Collierville High School volleyball team celebrated a triumphant victory on their home court Thursday, clinching the 2024 District 15-AAA Tournament Championship with a 3-1 win over the Houston Mustangs.

The Dragons came out strong in the first set, dominating the court and securing a convincing 25-12 win. However, Houston responded fiercely in the second set, evening the match with a close 25-23 victory, showcasing their resilience.

Undeterred, Collierville reclaimed control in the third set, mirroring the intensity of the previous set and once again winning 25-23. The Dragons capped off the match with a solid performance in the fourth set, sealing the championship with a 25-20 victory.

With this win, Collierville advances to the White Station Regional, where they will face the Southwind Jaguars at 6 PM next Tuesday. A victory in this elimination game will set them up for a showdown against the winner of the White Station vs. Houston match for the Regional Title immediately following.
