Germantown, TN – In a thrilling showdown under the downpour on Friday night, the Collierville High School Dragons emerged victorious against their rivals, the Germantown Red Devils, with a final score of 15-12.

The Dragons came out strong, showcasing an aggressive offensive strategy that paid off early. Quarterback Grant Troutman connected with standout receiver Luke Roeder for two crucial touchdown passes. Following the first score, AJ Greene successfully executed a two-point conversion with a pass to Marshall Smith, Jr., setting the tone for Collierville’s commanding first half.

With momentum on their side, the Dragons extended their lead to 15-0 by halftime, thanks to a successful extra point from kicker Grayson Lytton after Roeder's second touchdown reception.

Despite trailing at the half, Germantown regrouped and launched a spirited comeback in the second half. However, they struggled to convert on critical points after touchdowns, which ultimately hindered their efforts. Collierville's defense stood strong, with several pivotal stops on fourth down that showcased their tenacity and resilience.

The victory improves Collierville’s record to an impressive 6-0, maintaining their undefeated streak this season. Looking ahead, the Dragons will have a short turnaround as they prepare to face White Station on the road next Thursday.
