The Collierville High School mountain biking team delivered another strong performance at their second race of the season, held in Jackson, Tennessee. Riders across multiple divisions showcased their skills and determination, bringing home notable placements and boosting the team's standing in the league.
Varsity Division
In the boys' varsity division, Tanner Smithart continued to impress, securing a solid 13th place finish. On the girls' side, Jadyn Jump had a stellar ride, finishing in 9th place.
Junior Varsity Boys
The junior varsity boys division saw some outstanding performances as well. Ty Wilson placed 5th, followed closely by Eli Hong in 6th. Brayden Mackiewicz and Nick Bentley both finished in the top 20, with Brett Sidwell and Taylor Voye placing in the top 50. Tyler Simpson completed his race in the top 60, contributing to the team’s overall success.
Junior Varsity Girls
For the junior varsity girls, Kate Pennel delivered a strong performance, placing 9th. Kelley Whitehead and Abbie Burke finished in the top 20, while Penelope Crespo rounded out the team’s strong showing with a top 25 finish.
Sophomore Boys
The sophomore boys' division saw Carson Rojahn racing to an impressive 4th place finish, followed by George Old in 9th. Pablo Crespo placed in the top 25, and Noah Petz completed his race in the top 50.
Freshman Division
The freshman riders also had strong finishes. Briar Bostick secured a top 25 spot in the boys' division, while Kara Fewell placed in the top 15 for the girls.
Team Ranking
Thanks to these performances, Collierville High School is currently ranked 6th out of 30 teams in the Tennessee league, showing that their hard work and training are paying off as they continue to push toward the top.
