The Collierville High School volleyball team continued their impressive start to the 2024 season with a commanding 3-0 victory over St. Agnes on Thursday. The Lady Dragons triumphed with set scores of 25-14, 25-14, and 25-23, marking their ninth consecutive win to open the campaign.
The core group of returning players—Erin Guffin, Maeve Allen, Brynne Krangnes, and Chase Burdette—played a crucial role in securing the win against the reigning 2A-State Runners-Up. Their experience and synergy were evident throughout the match.
Sophomore standout Isabel Plunkett also made a notable impact, delivering impressive performances at the net and contributing significantly to the team’s success.
The Dragons will now enjoy a well-deserved weekend break before returning to action on Tuesday, September 3, at their home court. They will face Hernando (MS) with the match scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. inside the MyTownMovers Fieldhouse.
