The Collierville High School Lady Dragons soared to a decisive 9-0 road victory over the White Station Spartans on Tuesday at Crump Stadium. With this win, the Dragons continue their undefeated streak, improving their overall record for the 2024 season to 5-0.
The match started with a bang as freshman sensation Caroline Sheals scored an early goal, setting the tone for the game. Sheals demonstrated her prowess once again with a header to close out the first half. By halftime, the Dragons had built a commanding 6-0 lead, thanks to additional goals from Adeline Shilling, Kaitlyn Lewis, and sisters Piper and Presley Williams.
In the second half, the Lady Dragons shifted their focus to solidifying their defense while still maintaining their offensive edge. The team managed to score three more goals, with contributions from Lewis, Alyssa Gresham, and Caroline Anglin.
