Collierville, TN – The Collierville High School women's soccer team secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory against the Briarcrest Saints on Thursday, August 22, at Collierville Soccer Field, Landers SportsPlex.

In a match marked by intense competition, the Dragons took an early lead thanks to Kaitlyn Lewis, who scored just 4 minutes into the second half. However, Briarcrest's Maggie Mills leveled the score with a goal at the 15-minute mark, setting the stage for a thrilling finish.

The decisive moment came when freshman standout Caroline Anglin scored the game-winning goal just two minutes after Mills' equalizer, sealing the victory for the Lady Dragons.

With this win, Collierville's women's soccer team remains undefeated with a 4-0-0 record to start the 2024 regular season. Coach Gareth Munro’s squad will look to extend their winning streak in their next match against White Station on Tuesday, August 27, at Crump Stadium.
