It didn’t take long for Collierville freshman Zoe Blaszczyk to make her mark on the Mid-South high school golf scene. At the Prep Showcase held at Tunica National on Monday, Blaszczyk, secured a third-place finish individually. The event, which showcased 30 of the top amateur golfers from West Tennessee and North Mississippi, saw Blaszczyk impress with a 34 on the back 9, culminating in a final score of 79.
In the men's competition, Collierville's Jackson Whaley and Oliver Haluska led the team, each shooting a score of 77. The Class of 2026 duo are expected to make a significant impact for the Dragons in 2024 with high expectations for the team this fall.
The Dragons are set to compete against Germantown's Houston High at Spring Creek this afternoon, with a tee time scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
