Junior Tennessee Vol commit Ari Bethea and senior Union Bulldog signee Nate Myers pitched a combined no-hitter, totaling 11 strikeouts, as No. 2 Collierville defeated Menomonee Falls (WI) 3-1 Wednesday night at Patriot Bank Park.

Bethea (2-1) struck out 11 batters over 5.0 innings, allowing only one walk, while Myers tossed the final two frames, striking out three and walking a pair. Bethea increased his strikeout total to 36 and is averaging two strikeouts per inning this season.

Not the typical night for bats to get hot with crisp temperatures, Collierville shortstop and Belmont commit JD Whitworth was able to cross the plate twice. Brody Winemiller scored the other run for the Dragons. Runs batted in came from Jack Bogenreif and Ayden Jacobs.

The Diamond Dragons (9-3) will now travel to Murfreesboro for a consecutive day trip in Middle Tennessee to take part in the annual Riverdale Warrior Classic. Collierville will visit Grace Christian Academy Thursday. They will play a double header Friday versus Monona Grove (WI) and Zionsville (IN) at Siegel High School to conclude the month of March's action.
