Hilary Shikuku scored 23 points and dished out 4 assists to help lead the Collierville Lady Dragons to a 62-46 victory over Lake Hamilton (AR) on Friday in the second day of play in the Cabot Classic.
Lake Hamilton turned in a formidable performance but the traditional Arkansas powerhouse could never get an edge on the hot-shooting Dragons.
Shikuku was 10 of 14 from the field and connected on 2 of 5 three pointers. Senior Carlyn Burdette also had a big day contributing 15 points while shooting 6 of 9 from the field and connecting 3 of 4 from behind the arc.
A huge spark to the Collierville line-up has been the play of freshman Ehi Aigbomian. The force down low had 10 rebounds and just shy of a double-double with 8 points.
Point guard Jekhyra Rodgers didn't miss a shot. She was 3 of 3 from the field and 1 of 1 from the three point line.
Collierville (6-5) will look to continue the winning ways Saturday. The Lady Dragons conclude the Cabot Classic with a game versus Greenbrier (AR) with a tip-off at 12pm CST.
