The Dragons scored all their runs in the first two innings. In the opening frame, Hayden Short scored on a passed ball. Cael Allen would follow in the second inning by scoring on a passed ball. Leadoff hitter, JD Whitworth, would then blast his fifth home run of the season over the centerfield wall.
Bethea went five innings, allowed three runs, two earned; and struck out eight. Baird picked up his fifth save, striking out four in two innings of work.
