Collierville Softball hitting continues to make headlines as the Dragons bats stay hot in another mercy rule victory over Briarcrest Christian, 17-2. Maryn Macri, a Blue Mountain college signee, hit just the third home run ever in the history of Forklift Field.
Collierville Softball's offense has scored double digit runs in their last five victories against some of the area's top schools: Olive Branch (15 runs against), Northpoint Christian (25), Houston (15), ECS (18), and Briarcrest (17).
Collierville (18-4) will look to add another offensive outburst against town line rival, Germantown. The Dragons and Red Devils are scheduled to sqare off, 6pm, at Forklift Field on Tuesday (April 18).
