The Collierville Diamond Dragons took down Houston in six innings on Monday night at Bill Avant Field. The Dragons put up four runs in the first inning - highlighted by Brody Winemiller's two-run home run. Collierville would then cruise to a 12-0 victory.

Thomas Crabtree drew the start for the Dragons (14-2). The East Tennessee State signee put out an impressive showing with the complete game shutout. The 6'3 right-hander struck out 10 and walked just three Mustang hitters.

Collierville's offense got hot again in the 4th inning tallying three runs. The potent offense then erupted for five runs in the 6th inning en route to the mercy rule victory.

Crabtree also had three hits at the the plate. AJ Greene had a pair of hits, including a double. Winemiller would later add a double and a sacrifice fly for his 2 hit, 3 RBI performance. Austin Smith was 2-for-3 to help pace the offensive attack.

Collierville and Houston will square off again on Tuesday at Patriot Bank Park. First pitch is scheduled for 6:30pm. Tickets may be purchased by clicking on the link below.
