The Collierville High School men's wrestling team had three big victories at the Beast of the Beach in Fort Walton, Florida on Thursday and ended Day 1 with a 3-1 record. The Dragons dropped their opening match versus Alabama's Smiths Station, 47-20, before sweeping the remaining competition of the day.

Collierville defeated Louisiana's Archibishop Shaw in a tight match, 39-33, before thumping Florida's Gulf Breeze High School (49-22) and Tate High School (70-12).
