The Collierville High School men's basketball team has reached the 10 win mark for the first time before Christmas in school history. Another double digit win over Wooddale, 68-57, improved the Dragons record to 10-3. The quarterfinals victory in the inaugural Chings Spartan Invitational hosted by White Station High School sets up a showdown between the Dragons and the host White Station on Wednesday.

Alex Vandenbergh continues to be a nightmare for opposing teams. The 6'5 uncommitted small forward had 17 points to lead all scorers. His senior counterpart, TJ McNeal, netted 11 points. Cooper McCrae and Webb Thomas each contributed 8 points in the victory.

Wednesday's tip-off for the semifinals match-up between Collierville and White Station is set for 5pm at Spartan Palace.
