A surge in the second quarter helped Collierville to a 72-39 blowout victory at Kirby on Tuesday evening. The Dragons had a balanced scoring attack with their numerous weapons. Cooper McCrae had 15 points to lead all scorers. BJ Boyce added nine points and Elijah Lussier, Antonio Thompson, and Tre Dillard each contributed 8 points.
The win improves the Dragons to 5-1 on the season. They'll travel to Central Arkansas Thursday to take part in the three-day Cabot Christmas Classic. Game 1 is Thursday evening, 8:30pm, versus the host Panthers.
The Collierville girls were also victorious Tuesday with a 58-19 win over Kirby. The Lady Dragons (3-4) will play in the TN Report Best of the Best Classic on Saturday. Collierville and Fayette Ware will tip-off at 11:30am at Trinity Christian.
