Collierville women's basketball head coach Pattie Gardner has named Jessica Brown as her third assistant. The former standout at Collierville High School joins the Lady Dragons staff after a successful playing career at The University of West Georgia.

Brown played in all 28 games as a senior at UWG during the 2018-19 season, starting each of the last 27 games. She scored 235 points, averaging 8.4 per contest while shooting 83-for-222 from the field, good for a .374 field goal percentage. The 6'1 forward could also light it up behind the arc, pouring in 33 three-pointers at a .347 clip. She pulled down 119 rebounds, averaging 4.3 per game. As a senior, Brown had 12 double-digit performances on the year.
She was named to the Gulf South Conference All-Tournament Team and was named Academic All-Gulf South Conference.

After a stellar career as a Lady Dragon, Brown signed with North Alabama. She transferred to West Georgia for her sophomore, junior, and senior seasons.

Coach Brown joins veteran assistant Starry Taylor and former Overton High School Head Coach, Deborah Moody, on Coach Gardner's staff.
