Collierville took down Arlington at home in the regular season finale, 21-7, and move to the playoffs this week with an 8-2 record.
The Dragons and Tigers were tied at the half, 7-7, with Collierville scoring a pair of touchdowns in the third quarter while holding Arlington scoreless through the final 24 minutes of play.
The Collierville defense stepped up on Friday and it started with a Tyler Johns interception for a pick 6 in the 1st quarter.
Aidan Glover was 16-for-32 for 155 yards with one touchdown as the signal caller offensively. Glover connected with Joakim Dodson for a 6-yard TD reception to give the Dragons the lead early after halftime, 14-7.
Logan Davis carried the ball 16 times for 64 yards. Davis found the endzone shortly after Dodson's touchdown reception.
Grayson Lytton was 3-for-3 on extra point attempts.
On the defensive side, Jonathan Davis was in beast mode for the Dragons and led the team with nine tackles.
With the win, Collierville (8-2, 5-2 Region 8-6A) finishes third in the Region. The Dragons will travel to Brentwood, this Friday, for a first round playoff matchup. Kickoff is scheduled for 7pm.
