Logan Johns threw for 202 yards and Noah Flaskamp had five receptions for 96 yards as the senior captains led the Collierville Dragons to a 20-6 win over Germantown Friday night at Dragon Stadium.

The Dragons (7-0) have now won seventeen consecutive regular season football games. Collierville's Doomsday Defense continues to be dominant that has only allowed a state's best 48 points. They allowed a pair of first half field goals to a very talented Germantown kicker, Oziel Hernandez, in the first half.

Offensively, Collierville continues to be electric with multiple weapons in their arsenal. The play of the year proved to be the difference maker when Johns threw a perfect pass to Flaskamp that used Cooper Kupp type speed and strength to find the end zone. The touchdown occurred with time expiring at the end of the first half and tied the game 6-6. The point after failed.

Austin Smith would score on a sweep from the five to give the Dragons the lead in the third quarter. Grayson Lytton would connect on the point after touchdown to make the score 13-6.

It was then a direct snap to Flaskamp who used his force through a powerful Germantown defensive line that put the exclamation mark on the victory late in the 4th quarter. Lytton's extra point was good. Collierville 20 Germantown 6. Final.

The Memphis area High School football game of the week did not disappoint. Dragon Stadium set an all time attendance record with 6,000+ witnessing the excitement.

Collierville will have a short week and play at Houston (Germantown, TN) Thursday, October 6, against another strong football team from Region 8-6A.
