No. 2 Collierville scored a pair of first quarter touchdowns from the air, added another second quarter touchdown pass, and secured a 26-21 victory with a 4th quarter touchdown run Friday night at Whitehaven.
Offensively, Aidan Glover completed 18 of 24 passing attempts for 230 yards and three touchdowns. Noah Flaskamp led the receivers with seven catches for 110 yards and a touchdown. Joakim Dodson and Logan Davis also had touchdown receptions. Andy Bell led the running backs with 74 yards on 13 carries and a touchdown.
Defensively, linebackers Jonathan Hampton, Eli Myers, and Gyasi Wallace each had five tackles. The trio also each had a pair of tackles for loss.
Collierville (6-0) won't have much time to celebrate as the Dragons will welcome the Germantown Red Devils to Dragon Stadium next Friday, September 30, at Landers SportsPlex.
