This time victory for the Collierville football team did not take place on their home turf. The Dragons instead traveled across the Mississippi state line to throttle Center Hill, 42-0, Friday night at Mustang Field in Olive Branch.

The crowd witnessed a potent offense and a doomsday defense that now has shutout three of its first four opponents. Junior Quarterback Aidan Glover continued to put up Tecmo Bowl type numbers. Glover was on target 9 of 11 attempts to tally 248 yards through the air. He threw four touchdowns and had one interception. The dual threat signal caller also rushed for 87 yards on 6 attempts.

Austin Smith should've been inserted into all high school fantasy league line-ups and would not have disappointed. The senior playmaker caught all four passes thrown his way for 119 yards and three scores from 15, 55, and 19 yards out. Noah Flashkamp had two catches for 88 yards that included a 79 yard post pattern on the second play of the Dragon offense.

Demikah Gregory and Jonathan Davis each had 7 tackles to lead the defensive effort. Eli Myers had 6 tackles and a sack. The play of the game came from senior safety Tyler Johns on a one-handed tip and catch for a worthy ESPN Top 10 play nominee.

It is highly recommended to purchase tickets early, and online, for next Friday night's Homecoming showdown versus Cordova. Collierville (4-0, 1-0) will kickoff versus the Wolves (1-2, 0-1), 7pm, at Dragon Stadium at Landers SportsPlex on Nov. 16 for a Region 8-6A contest.

The Dragons are winners of 14 consecutive regular season games.
