Aidan Glover was a perfect 7-for-7 passing for 154 yards and a pair of touchdowns and Andy Bell rushed for 54 yards with two scores as the Collierville Dragons dominated the Frederick Douglass Red Devils, 42-0, Friday night inside a packed Dragon Stadium.

The Maroon & White defense was dominant, holding the Douglass offense to just 49 yards total offense.

Collierville scored on the first play of the game when Glover connected with Noah Flashkamp for 50 yards and a touchdown. The Dragons' double-threat backfield of Andy Bell and Logan Davis would find the end zone for the next three scores before Glover connected with Austin Smith on his second touchdown pass.

Sophomore rising stars, quarterback Grant Troutman and tight end Brody Winemiller, teamed up for a 19-yard TD to finish off the Dragons' scoring efforts.

Kicker Presley Spicer was 5-for-5 on PAT's.

Collierville improves to 2-0 and Douglass falls to 1-1.

Things will begin to intensify next Friday night when the Dragons open play in a loaded Region 8 6-A for a matchup with White Station. The Spartans will come to Collierville with a lot of confidence after defeating Memphis Central 15-14. Kickoff is set for 7pm at Dragon Stadium at Landers Sportsplex.
