The Collierville High School men's golf team continued a hot start to the 2022 season on Thursday afternoon with a team championship in the reputable Ronnie Wenzler Memorial Tournament at Windyke Country Club. Junior phenom Kaiser Godinez continued to pace the Dragons by shooting an even par round of 72. Also scoring for the Maroon and White were freshman sensation Jackson Whaley (74), Nathan London (75), and 2021 state tournament qualifier Chance Elston (76).

The Wenzler Tournament annually features the top Memphis area golf teams. Team scores were as followed: Collierville 297; Briarcrest 298; Memphis University School 303; CBHS 307; Houston 327; St. George’s 345; Evangelical Christian School 361.

Collierville will look to continue their winning ways when they return to Windyke on Monday (Aug. 22) to take part in the FCA Tournament.
