The Collierville High School men's golf team had another strong performance as they begin play in the 2022 season. At Lakeland Country Club on Tuesday (Aug. 16), the Dragons pulled away late to defeat Houston 147-156.

Kaiser Godinez was once again medalist with a score of 33. Also contributing to the victory for the Dragons were Jackson Whaley (36), Chance Elston (39), and Hayden Newman (39).

Collierville improves to 2-0 on the year and is set to resume play on Thursday in the Ronnie Wenzler Memorial Golf Tournament at Windyke Country Club.
